Maple Lane Farm is rich in family history, three generations have lived here.

Family is important to us so we were searching for animals that would contribute to our lifestyle. After meeting Randy of Bredwell 4 U in Gothenburg, and his loveable, furry followers we just had to take some home. We witnessed first hand how our children bonded with these animals and knew this was what we were looking for.

We have really enjoyed these new additions to our family. Our miniature donkeys are played with daily by all ages.

We love to show off our miniature donkeys and invite you to contact us or stop by. All of the miniature donkeys are up do date on vaccinations, worming and hoof trimming. We will only sell to homes that have other equine as miniature donkeys are very social animals and need companions.

Our donkeys are on a rotational worming program and also provided hoof care by our farrier on 4 month intervals. Every spring, we administer a 4 way vaccine.

We provide our donkeys with brome/praire hay mix during the fall and winter months and they are turned out on pasture during the spring and summer. They are also provided full access to a mineral/salt block year round and fresh water is always available.

Grain/Feed is strictly limited to nursing mothers who may require some nourishment during winter months. Full barn access is available for our donkeys to get out of the elements.

Our foals are weaned between 4-6 months of age, given their vaccinations with a follow up booster shot, and micro-chipped. They are contained in a special weaning pen so we can keep a close eye on them and begin their halter training.
